The JBIS database contains comprehensive information on Japanese racehorses. The information available includes race records and breeding records of Japanese bred horses as well as breeding records of horses imported to Japan from abroad.
If you are interested in Japanese-bred horses, JBIS is the only information source in English which allows you to look at Japanese racing from a breeding point of view. |

| How much does the service cost? How do I pay? |

There is a set fee for each report available on JBIS. You will be charged that fee for each report you order.

All JBIS services are available to any and all users. |

| Can I use information obtained from JBIS in any way I wish? |

As stated in the Customer Agreement, information obtained from JBIS is strictly for personal use.
Using information obtained from the service for acts such as creating publications, providing a separate internet service or creating a database and distributing such material to other parties is prohibited, regardless of whether or not charges were incurred for use of the service. |

| How do I subscribe to the service? |

To become a subscribed user of the service, it is necessary to obtain a User ID. To do so, start from the Top Page and click the button for establishing a new account.
Once you enter the necessary personal and payment information, you will be issued an User ID, and you will immediately be able to use the service. |

| What do I do if I forget my password? |
|
|
Please use the Password Reminder service which is avilable from the Top Page.
An e-mail message will be sent to the e-mail address you registered when you subscribed to the service. |

| What procedures, if any, are necessary to unsubscribe? |
|
|
Procedures to unsubscribe are unnecessary. Because users are only charged for actual services used, you do not have to unsubscribe even if you are not using the service. |
